Welcome to Midas AI Studio, Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”). We operate HandyPulse (the “Service”). Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, safeguard, and disclose information that results from your use of our Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

  • LOCAL-FIRST: Means your data is primarily stored and processed on your own device.
  • PERSONAL DATA: Means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data.
  • USAGE DATA: Data collected automatically (e.g., the duration of an app session).

We collect several types of information to provide and improve our Service.

Types of Data Collected

  • Personal Data: Email address (for account/sync), First name and Last name.
  • Note Content: Stored locally in your Isar Database. We do not have access to this data unless you enable Cloud Sync via Firebase.
  • AI Context Data: When using Gemini AI features, specific encrypted text fragments are processed for real-time inference. This data is not used to train foundational models.

4. Use of Data

Midas AI Studio uses the collected data to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service.
  • Process AI requests (Auto-tagging, RAG, Summarization).
  • Notify you about changes or technical issues.
  • Provide customer support.

5. Service Providers (Data Processors)

We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service:

  • Google Vertex AI / Firebase: For AI logic, analytics, and optional cloud sync.
  • Tavily: For internet grounding search (queries only).
  • Microsoft: For text-to-speech synthesis.
  • Stripe: For payment processing (we do not store credit card details).

6. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

If you are a resident of the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to:

  • Access, update, or delete the information we have on you.
  • Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Our Local-first architecture is designed to minimize these risks by keeping data on your device.
